Mollie Petrizzo was born in China and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut where she began her dance training at the age of 3. Throughout her young dance career, she danced with local studios such as Ballet Theatre Company and Alyce Carella Dance Center, then at 17 decided to train at Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts. After high school, Mollie was accepted into the Ailey/Fordham BFA program at Fordham University in New York City and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2021. During her four years at Fordham Mollie has had the opportunity to perform works created by esteemed choreographers such as Anna Sokolow, Earl Mosley, Yoshito Sakuraba, and Darshan Bhuller. Since graduation, Mollie has performed as a company member of contemporary ballet companies such as Visions Contemporary Ballet, Ballet Theatre Company, and Dimensional Dance
