Andrea Huynh
Andrea is a second-generation Vietnamese American and was raised in Cary, North Carolina. She trained at Cary Ballet Conservatory under Heather Iler and Mariaelena Ruiz, and during her training, she won awards at the Youth America Grand Prix semifinals and American Dance Competition. After her graduation, she performed as a trainee in productions with BalletMet and Philadelphia Ballet before joining Ballet San Antonio for its 2020-21 season. Since then, she has had the opportunity to perform featured roles including the Black Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake, the Sugarplum Fairy and Clara in The Nutcracker, Kitri in Patrick Armand’s Don Quixote, and the White Rabbit in Brian Enos’ Alice in Wonderland. She was promoted to soloist in 2022. While dancing at Ballet San Antonio, Andrea is also pursuing her psychology degree at Penn State University. Andrea is excited to join the Asian American Ballet Project for its 2024 season.
