Andrea Huynh
Andrea is a second-generation Vietnamese American and was raised in Cary, North Carolina. This is her second season as a dancer with AABP, and her first as an administrative assistant. She trained at Cary Ballet Conservatory under Heather Iler and Mariaelena Ruiz, and during her training, she won awards at the Youth America Grand Prix semifinals and American Dance Competition. After her graduation, she performed as a trainee in productions with BalletMet and Philadelphia Ballet before joining Ballet San Antonio for its 2020-21 season. Since then, she has had the opportunity to perform featured roles including the Black Swan pas de deux from Swan Lake, Kitri in Don Quixote, the White Rabbit in Alice in Wonderland, and Tinkerbelle in Peter Pan (both choreographed by Brian Enos). She was promoted to soloist in 2022. While dancing with Ballet San Antonio, Andrea is also pursuing her BS in psychology at Penn State University.
