2026 AABP Children’s Cast Information
Children selected at the audition will be invited to rehearse with AABP at the N&D Wellesley location.
Rehearsal Period
June 1–24, 2026 (Additional May dates may be added)
Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Children will be required to attend 3–5 rehearsal blocks during this period. Once casting is finalized, individual conflicts will be considered when determining specific rehearsal dates and times. Rehearsals likely to occur after June 12.
Performance Week Requirements
All Children’s Cast members must have full availability June 25–28, 2026 for:
Technical rehearsal
Dress rehearsal
Two performances
Call and end times at the Calderwood Pavilion are TBD.
Additional Information
Costumes will be provided.
Dancers must provide tights and ballet slippers that match their costumes.
Children may also be invited to represent AABP at community events with advance notice.
There is no fee to participate in the Children’s Cast.
2026 AABP Trainee Program Information
Dancers (ages 13 and up) selected at the audition will be invited to join AABP as Trainees.
Trainees rehearse with AABP at the N&D Wellesley location and participate in company class and rehearsals.
Rehearsal Period
June 1–24, 2026 (Additional May dates may be added)
Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Trainees are encouraged to attend all company classes and may understudy company dancers as their academic schedules allow. Trainees who are cast to perform are required to attend all rehearsals to which they are called.
Once casting is finalized, individual conflicts will be considered when determining specific rehearsal dates and times.
Performance Week Requirements

All Trainees are encouraged to attend theatre rehearsals and performances regardless of casting.
